With this manual flaker, you can crush all grain types the size of wheat kernels, with the exception of corn. The stone rollers produce slightly finer flakes than the stainless steel rollers. For those wishing to process oilseeds, a flaker with stainless steel rollers is recommended, as stone rollers would become gummed up.
