In her very first year with the team, Bianca Bogen can already call herself EUROPEAN CHAMPION in the middle distance. The mother of two from Leipzig secured the victory at the 2026 IRONMAN® 70.3 European Championships in Jönköping, Sweden.

However, the 27-year-old has already been dedicated to triathlon for over 10 years. Back then, she switched from competitive swimming to triathlon together with her brother, Rico Bogen. 

She is particularly fascinated by the variety of this sport – it never gets boring. Which is why she doesn't actually have a preferred discipline. Bianca also enjoys being out in nature, so it is very convenient for her that a triathlete's training takes place largely outdoors. Bianca doesn't get bored at home either. Her two small children are waiting there – the perfect balance for Bianca to her training-intensive daily sports routine. The kids bring their very own kind of energy into her life. And as if that weren't enough, Bianca also wants to complete her International Management studies alongside sports and family. This requires a lot of organization, structure, and time management and would not be manageable without help from her family.

It is therefore not surprising that such a training day sometimes starts with a run to the kindergarten. This is followed by a time slot that includes training sessions and organizational tasks. The weekend then even makes it possible to complete three training sessions a day. 

Because Bianca is pursuing the major goal of becoming part of the world elite in the middle distance. And she is well on her way there.
