NO HUNGER
Securing food worldwide, achieving better nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture.
As a purely organic company, we support environmentally friendly agriculture - both here and in every country from which we source organic raw materials for our production.
We only produce vegetarian products. This means that so-called "processing losses" from the production of animal products are minimised. On average, seven plant-based calories are needed to produce one animal calorie from meat.
We donate products that are not sold but are of perfect quality to the Offenburg food bank.
Health & Wellbeing
To ensure a healthy life for all people of all ages and promote their well-being.
We produce gluten-free organic food. People with the autoimmune disease coeliac disease are absolutely dependent on gluten-free products.
Nutritional benefits such as "rich in fibre" or "source of certain minerals or vitamins" are labelled accordingly on the products.
Our production employees take part in the company health care programme. A company-agreed health budget can be utilised in a highly flexible manner.
Promotion of sustainable lifestyle and production practices
The processing of raw materials from controlled organic cultivation and vegetarian recipes are deeply rooted in our company.
This protects the environment along the entire value chain. A large proportion of our purchases are already made from socially certified organic raw materials.
Due to our packaging changeover by early 2023, we were able to reduce packaging quantities and launch the first packaging with the Interseroh logo for recyclability.
To reduce CO2 emissions, we are continuously working on the gas consumption of our ovens.
In order to integrate holistic sustainable management into our existing structures, continuously improve it and make it measurable, we have started the certification process for the ZNU standard for sustainable management.
Protecting and restoring terrestrial ecosystems and promoting their sustainable use
We are committed to organic farming and its contribution to soil fertility, in Germany and with suppliers worldwide.
Regional projects such as insect hotels and variety detectives for Genbänkle e.V. promote biodiversity.
